Termination of our Alliance with the Republic Defenders

After consulting with the leaders of our High Council and with our Diplomatic Corps at length, we have decided to end our alliance with the RD.

They have started fights in our chats, criticized how we run our guild, and sided against us with other Republic guilds known for trying to steal our members. They clearly do not understand that being allied means "mutual defense" of one another.

We have spoken respectfully with them and tried on several occasions to find diplomatic solutions, but we're cursed at repeatedly on more than one instance and lied to as well. We have several screenshots from different sources of them cursing out our guild and cursing at our members.

They are continuing to attempt to PC our members with the sole intent of sowing discontent -- they did this even before we terminated the alliance.

Sadly, this alliance has gained the AL nothing over its duration except drama, whereas the RD has taken the opportunity to steal our application form as well as the layout to several of our guild pages.

RD is now trying to speak to our members individually to help their new allies continue to try to steal our people.

As such, they are now BLACKLISTED. Their members are not permitted in our chats and our members are not to visit any of theirs.

Please report any PCs from their members and place them on /ignore.

In the meantime, we will be finding more mature, more respectful guilds to ally with who understand that allies are friends who protect and defend one another.

Its ashame but we will go on and be stronger for it.

It is sad when you open yourself up to others who seem to just want to take and judge. I'm truely saddened by this but we have to do what is best for this guild and to keep you all safe. If there is any concern or questions, please pc the Grand Master, the Ambassadors or myself about it, we are always here for you.

I know that Master Bond, Knight Hibatir and Jr. Ambassador Padawan Mai are working hard finding us some good guilds to form an alliance with, we appreciate everything they are doing for us.

To shed a little more light upon the path of knowledge in this situation...

The other "Republic" guild in question is RSF. I'd tell you what that stands for, but they change it every other day, you see.

It is led by Richard, formerly Forauth, who was kicked out of the AL over the summer time for behavior unbecoming an AL member -- and a leader, at that. Issues included foul language, insubordination, failure to execute his duties, provoking other Republic guilds, and constantly trying to agitate the Troopers against the other three classes. He has been in multiple Sith and Republic guilds since, causing a few of them to fail due to the total drama he caused while there.

Now that he has created the RSF, he has spread rumors about the failing of the AL (not true -- we have more members than ever and our technology and add-ons are the best they've ever been) and has been specifically attempting to recruit our troopers. After he and his associates were blacklisted for their behavior (we do NOT allow other guilds to recruit from us), he changed tactics -- destroy the RD/AL Alliance. Sadly, RD's immaturity and failure to see the bigger picture allowed him to do just that, despite our best efforts at diplomacy.

We still receive screenshots of both RSF and RD saying negative things about us and plotting to hurt the AL. As such, we ask all our members to stay away from those of both guilds. Allies and reputations and popularity are NOTHING compared to the safety and well being of each and every one of you. As you can see just from reading this, there's a whole lot of drama in the TOR community and we'd just as soon not have any part of it.
