Today, Bioware released different races on what a jedi or sith could be, however, i do not know if each species is set to only a specific class. However, all of these species are confirmed:

Twi'lek (smuggler)
Chiss (imperial agent
Rattataki (Bounty Hunter)
Sith Pureblood (Sith Warrior
Miraluka (Jedi Knight)
Mirialan (Jedi Consular)
Zabrack (Sith Inquisitor)

As i have stated before, i do not know if certain species can only go to certain classes. We will have to wait. Any thoughts on this?

great info on all the races, though i am really interseted in playing as the Miraluka now, it awesome they added them in there, maybe we can visit there homeworld and figure out what happened to Visas Marr

I really wish they would release the stats on the classes. I love the idea of playing a miraluka! I played one in the table top Star Wars rpg. But I would definitely like to see the pros and cons of the races...

Awesome news, I hope most races can be all classes. I'm thinking of being a Zabrack

I hope all species can be in all the classes too, espicially sith pureblood jedi knight

Now I'm not sure if I want to human.

I was really hoping for more non-human like species, like a Bothan. But for now, I will go with the Mirialan.

I am not super duper excited about the Mirialan so I guess I will stick with human. :> This does make me antsy to play around with the character creator however!
